Trade Nation is the trading name of a company called Finsa Europe Ltd.
On the other hand, the broker is claiming to be registered as Trade Nation Financial (Pty) Ltd.
Furthermore, they claim that the company is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, FSP No 49846.
We have investigated these claims but didn’t find this company in the FSP database.
Furthermore, Trade Nation claims that they used to operate as Core Spreads between 2014 and 2019.
We have found out that Corespreads is still operating as corespreads.com and does not appear to have a relationship with TradeNation.com.
Is Trade Nation Legit?
While they claim to provide brokerage services, we see that this website is operating in a peculiar way.
For example, their trading platform(s) is unknown. We have no idea whether they offer the popular MT4 trading platform or cTrader software.
We have no idea what their spreads are or what the minimum deposit is.
And of course these guys are not even talking about leverage, margin call percentages or what financial instruments one can trade.
What Trade Nation offers is basically a mysterious financial service and we do not recommend trading with such a nontransparent broker.
Conclusion
We believe that brokers should be transparent and upfront with all their fees.
Because trading involves your hard-earned money, you basically want to invest that money with regulated brokers who have a reputation, not mysterious brokers like Tradenation.com.
This platform are same folks from Australia under Core Spreads Australia. They have poor customer service because their head of customer support cannot even solve issue that they have on the platform let alone their technical support staff. There are a lot of complaints with their platform as they cannot handle the trades coming in and often the system will hang or freeze. Once there was even a bug they will not let you close your trade. They have had complaints all they way to the Australian regulatory commission. Trade with them at your own risk.
